What’s not to love about a front porch? It offers additional entertaining space and it allows you to enjoy the outdoors with some coverage from the elements.

According to Kipling, it’s one of the features home buyers desire most. “A front porch provides a place between curb and front door where homeowners can relax, watch the world go by, and interact with friends and neighbors, socially distanced if need be,” it said.

Here are 5 homes you can buy for under $400,000 in Atlanta.

Well below $400,000 is this 3 bed, 1 bath bungalow ranch. The southeast Atlanta home has a covered porch and a private patio overlooking the backyard.

1391 Hartford Ave SW - $379,000

This 1920s bungalow is in the Capitol View neighborhood. The front porch is large and the house is by Perkerson Park.

The price has been cut on this West End bungalow. The large front porch overlooks the park. The home, which has been renovated, is a short walk to the Beltline.
