To celebrate the 30th anniversary of “The Black Crowes Present: Shake Your Money Maker,” the Atlanta-reared band will unveil a multi-format re-release in February.

Band founders – and brothers – Chris and Rich Robinson nurtured the project with original producer George Drakoulias. Among the offerings arriving Feb. 26 are a 4-LP and 3-CD “super deluxe” version which includes the original album in remastered form, three previously unreleased studio recordings, two unreleased demos from the band’s early Mr. Crowe’s Garden incarnation and a 14-song unreleased concert recorded in Atlanta in 1990. Fans of the Mr. Crowe’s Garden will revisit the old days with reproductions of a show flier, a setlist and tour laminate. The collection also features a 20-page book with liner notes by David Fricke.

A 2-CD “deluxe” package contains the remastered albums, the unreleased studio songs, demos and B-sides, while a single CD and LP version offers the remastered album.

The anniversary edition of “Shake Your Money Maker” is available for pre-order here; one of the previously unheard songs, “Charming Mess,” which was supposed to be the band’s first single but ultimately nixed from the album, is available for listening now.

While The Black Crowes were supposed to hit the road last summer for a reunion tour and the actual 30th anniversary of “…Moneymaker” (it was released in 1990), those dates have been rescheduled, including July 3 at Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood.

Last February, the Robinsons returned for a hometown show in their acoustic form as Brothers of a Feather.
