Diddy’s house where Kim Porter died burgled

What You Need to Know - Kim Porter

Less than a month after Sean “Diddy” Combs posted a tribute to the late Kim Porter on what would have been her 50th birthday, burglars broke in to the home where Porter died.

TMZ reports someone pried open a side door at the Toluca Lake home, which Combs owns, triggering a security system.

The property’s caretaker discovered the break-in and said it was apparent someone had rummaged through the house. It isn’t known yet if anything was taken.

Porter was found dead in the house in November 2018 from lobar pneumonia, a type of pneumonia that often occurs after a cold or flu and affects one part of the lung. She was 47.

She and Combs had three children together: son King, 22, and twin girls Jessie James and D’Lila Star, 13.

Porter, a native of Georgia, graduated from Columbus High School in 1988 and moved to Atlanta. She began her career as a model, which led to small parts in movies and TV shows.

Combs and Porter met in the ‘90s and dated on and off until 2007. They remained friendly after their breakup.

After her death, Porter’s body was returned to Columbus, and she was buried there Nov. 24, 2018.
