As holiday travel ramps up, things are bound to turn up missing.

That was the case for one family whose stuffed animal was left behind during a recent Delta Air Lines flight from Kansas City to Atlanta.

Flight attendant Fabiola Isabel posted on Facebook Wednesday that a stuffed cat had been forgotten during the boarding or disembarking process.

“Trying to create a Delta Christmas Miracle! This little guy was left on the jetbridge on a flight that came in from Kansas City to Atlanta today December 16!” she wrote. “We want to find his family as I’m sure he’s missed! The post has since been shared more than 1,000 times and has garnered dozens of comments.

One Facebook user had suggested giving the toy cat to the gate agent. However, Isabel noted that the flight touched down early that morning, so the agent told her to share about the lost plush critter online.

In the meantime, the toy isn’t being forgotten. The crew gave the stuffed kitty a first-class seat along with a mask and a hand sanitizing wipe so he can stay safe as he awaits reunification with his family.
