While you may have opted to stay home this holiday season, Ciara appears to have taken her quarantine bubble to the ski slopes.

The Decatur-raised Grammy winner has spent the last several days doing something she’s never done before — skiing — with pal Vanessa Bryant.

Ciara documented the post-Christmas trek on Instagram by posting selfies and videos from the gondola and on the slopes.

“The Slopes Ain’t Ready,” the performer captioned a series of selfies with Bryant with a sunglasses-clad emoji on Instagram Dec. 27. Ciara also shared a video of the duo’s gondola ride, as they had fun glimpsing the view that Bryant said was “so pretty.”

After nearly missing their stop, the pair managed to make it onto the slopes. Other footage captured of the trip shows Ciara slowly making her way down the snowcapped hill. In the caption of the brief video, she wrote it was the “very 1st Time I Skied. So much fun. Figuring it all out!”

It wasn’t all about skiing, though. The pals played a friendly game of pool and also went tubing in the dark.

People magazine reported the singer’s oldest children, 6-year-old Future and 3-year-old Sienna joined the trip, as well as two of Bryant’s daughters 17-year-old Natalia, and 4-year-old Bianka.

Ciara has been making time to have fun with Bryant, who lost her husband Kobe Bryant and their 13-year-old daughter Gianna in a January helicopter crash.

In October, the pair teamed with Natalia and La La Anthony for a playful game of football with the kids. Two months earlier in August, Ciara paid homage to Vanessa writing in part, “Seeing you and the girls smile makes my heart smile. You’re the toughest mama I know. Seeing you put one foot forward each day is admirable.”
