Jeezy offers 11-year-old cancer patient his first-class airplane seat

The child is battling stage three cancer

On a recent flight to Memphis, Atlanta rapper Jeezy made a kind gesture to an 11-year-old child who he learned was facing serious health challenges.

Taking to his Instagram, Jeezy said he decided to offer his first-class seat to “Andre” after overhearing he was battling stage three cancer and was on his way to get treatment.

“Meet Andre, he’s 11 and one of the bravest young Kings I know. I met Andre on my flight to Memphis. Overheard he was battling stage 3 cancer and was on his way to Memphis for treatment,” Jeezy wrote alongside photos he took with Andre and his mother.

The Def Jam artist sat next to Andre’s “amazing and strong” mother and according to Jeezy’s post, the conversation led to an invitation to his show, which Andre accepted “like a boss.”

In January, Jeezy and his wife, TV host and fashion stylist Jeannie Mai Jenkins, welcomed their first child together. The rapper has three other children from previous relationships.

“I asked God for a life of love and happiness,” Mai Jenkins wrote on Instagram. “He sent me my family. Baby Jenkins is here.”
