Dooley wrote in a comment that Braves staff gifted her grandmother with a goodie bag with Braves gear, but she’s hoping to get her grandmother featured on the Jumbotron with their sign. It says “All I want for my 85th birthday is a WORLD SERIES TITLE!”
“One heck of an 85th birthday celebration - not the outcome we hoped for but Granmom has no doubt the @braves will finish it off in Houston!!” Dooley captioned the Game 5 update video.
At the game, the grandmother got many happy birthday wishes and reacted with glee to a grand slam.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has reached out to Dooley for comment.
