ATLANTA

“Dinosaurs Come Alive!”

Whatever your age, if you love dinosaurs and dragons, then head to the AmericasMart Convention Center this weekend. That’s where you’ll find an extravagant, million-dollar exhibit that re-creates a prehistoric world filled with animatronic moving and roaring dinosaurs, from the gentlest herbivores to the most ferocious predators (including a life-sized T. rex). If fantasy is more to your liking, step into the pages of a fairy tale, complete with fire-breathing dragons and a few well-known enchanted characters (a fairy godmother and the Tooth Fairy are just two). Shoot down the velociraptor slide, dig for fossils and treasure, bound through an array of bouncy inflatables and wind your way through obstacle courses and mazes.

3-8 p. m. April 25, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. April 26, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. April 27. $12-$20. AmericasMart Convention Center, 230 Spring St., Atlanta. 404-220-2230, www.dinosauriaexperience.com.

It’s all done on bikes inside Gwinnett Arena, where the action-packed performance features more than 1,000 gravity-defying freestyle tricks, stunts by the Shaolin Kung Fu Warriors, laser effects, a gigantic pyrotechnics display and music drawn from several genres, including heavy-metal, electronic dubstep and alternative hip-hop.
