LITHONIA
“Despicable Me 2” at Stonecrest Library
Did the kids beg to see “Despicable Me 2,” but you somehow missed taking them to see it on the big screen? Stonecrest Library gives parents a shot at redemption by offering an upcoming presentation. Featuring the voices of Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig, the film picks up where the first one left off. Having turned over a new leaf and adopted a trio of daughters, former supervillain Gru fights the good fight, with often humorous results. Yep, it’s an animated romp, but the style of comedy will arguably keep adults smiling, too.
2 p.m. Feb. 15. Free. Stonecrest Library, 3123 Klondike Road, Lithonia. 770-482-3828, www.dekalblibrary.org.
