Pallookaville Fine Foods open in Avondale
There was a line around the corner last week when deep-fried corn dog master Jim Stacy opened Pallookaville Fine Foods in Avondale Estates for a Halloween party. The soda fountain and deli, a brick-and-mortar spinoff of Stacy's carnival food truck, will be back open this week 11 a.m.-4 p.m. with a limited menu. Look for corn dogs, of course, plus franks, sausages, pork burgers and fries. There's a full bar and custom sodas and adult "shaketails." 17 N. Osteria Cibo Rustico opening in Toco Hills
Osteria Cibo Rustico, a new casual Toco Hills neighborhood eatery from co-owners of the Big Ketch Saltwater Grill and Milton's Cuisine & Cocktails, Chris Hadermann and John Piemonte, and proprietor Quincy Evans, is opening for dinner Nov. 6. The menu will feature homestyle Southern Italian appetizers, salads and pasta, along with sandwiches during lunch and entrees during dinner. Prices range from $4.95-$17.95. Stem Wine Bar opening in east Cobb
Seed Kitchen & Bar's owner and executive chef, Doug Turbush, is set to open Stem Wine Bar on Nov. 7. Located next to Seed Kitchen in east Cobb's Merchant's Walk Shopping Center, the cozy spot designed by Ai3 seats 40 guests and will feature European-inspired small plates, charcuterie, artisan cheeses, and casual fare. Rosebud and Fox Bros. music dinner
