Hop Alley open on Main in Alpharetta

Hop Alley Brewpub opened last week on Main Street in downtown Alpharetta serving lunch and dinner. For now, look for a limited opening menu, house-brewed beers and a selection of craft and import offerings, with a bigger menu and a grand opening party in the coming weeks. 25 S. Kirkwood Bar & Grill closed for good

After closing and reopening several times, Kirkwood Bar & Grill in Kirkwood Station on Hosea Williams Drive is closed for good, according to East Atlanta Patch. The spot’s reputation for drama included spats with Kirkwood neighbors, controversy over its liquor license, and a lawsuit by a former employee. Southeast Holdings LLC has been marketing the property on Facebook.

Legacy hires chef Christopher Blobaum

Legacy Restaurant Partners has hired chef Christopher Blobaum as its new corporate executive chef. Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival is back

Chef Ford Fry will host the fifth annual Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival at JCT Kitchen on July 21.
