Bar Margot at Four Seasons

Bar Margot opened on Sept. 28 at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. The "hip yet relaxed Midtown lounge" features a menu collaboration from Atlanta chef/restaurateur Ford Fry of Rocket Farm Restaurants and Four Seasons executive chef Robert Gerstenecker of Park 75. The "small-batch spirits menu" was conceived by two of Atlanta's most celebrated barmen, Greg Best and Paul Calvert. Staplehouse open in OFW

After a series of soft opening events, the much-anticipated Staplehouse in Old Fourth Ward finally opened its dining room on Oct. 2. Buy tickets for chef Ryan Smith's five-course tasting menu ($85 per person) through the new Tock system. There's also a patio, which is first-come, first-served with a separate a la carte menu. Here to Serve Restaurants closed

On Monday, Here to Serve Restaurants (Noche, Twist, Coast, Prime, Shucks, Smash) confirmed via its website that its multiple Atlanta concepts were closing en masse: "We apologize for the inconvenience, we are working on reorganization. Hopefully we will be Here To Serve you again soon." The troubled restaurant group previously closed several concepts, including Shout in Midtown and Aja in Buckhead, and was the subject of a federal court lawsuit by the owners of Phipps Plaza and Lenox Square in Buckhead. www.h2sr.com.

Max’s Wine Dive closing

Max's Wine Dive, which opened in Midtown in July 2014, announced on Facebook on Sept. 28 that it would close and liquidate its inventory: "After careful consideration we have made the difficult decision to close MAX's Wine Dive in Atlanta. Thank you for being loyal fans and supporting the restaurant over the past 15 months."
