We know, the weekend didn’t last long enough.
Instead of using the work week to count down to the next week, take our suggestions and make the weekdays just as fun as the weekend.
Here are five fun things to do this week:
Atlanta Cycling Fest
There are plenty of opportunities for cyclists to take to the streets this weekend. From Atlanta Streets Alive, which will shut down nearly three miles of Peachtree Street, to the Beltline Mountain Bike Ride, there are several activities that will take place in Atlanta as a part of the Atlanta Cycling Festival.

Cirque du Soleil’s “Toruk”
Based on James Cameron's "Avatar," Cirque du Soleil's 37th production will be in Gwinnett this week. The magical worlds of Cirque and "Avatar" will merge to create a story that is set thousands of years before the story in the blockbuster film.

If You Go: 7:30 p.m. June 15-17; 4 and 8 p.m. June 18; 1:30 and 5:30 p.m. June 19. $35-$128. Infinite Energy Center, 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth. 770-626-2464, www.infiniteenergycenter.com.
AtlantaFest: Christian Music Festival
There are a few festivals you can choose to attend this summer, but the unique thing about AtlantaFest is it is a Christian music festival. Popular artists such as Toby Mac and MercyMe will bring a variety of sounds to Strong Rock Christian School in Locust Grove, and all with the intention of creating an atmosphere of praise and worship.
The festival will run into this weekend, offering attendees more opportunities to hear from musicians and speakers, but also giving them a chance to participate in other activities such as a 5k. Kids will have access to ticketed items such as a zip line and rock wall.
If You Go: Times vary. June 16-18. $85 (three-day pass), $35 (one-day pass). Strong Rock Christian School, 4200 Strong Rock Pkwy, Locust Grove. Atlantafest.com
Bryson Tiller
Some of Atlanta’s Bryson Tiller fans were able to see the singer perform live on Valentine’s Day. But, if you didn’t get to see Tiller’s sold out show a few months ago, or you want to see him twice in less than six months, you’ll get the opportunity this month. Tiller will bring his personal tales of love and heartbreak to Chastain Park Amphitheatre on June 12.
If You Go: 8 p.m. June 12. $30-$70. Chastain Park Amphitheatre,4469 Stella Dr., Atlanta. livenation.com.
Drift Fish House and Oyster Bar
AJC's dining editor Ligaya Figueras recommends Drift Fish House and Oyster Bar in Marietta and says it's worth braving metro Atlanta traffic for. That's a pretty big recommendation to live up to, but apparently the cocktails and fresh fish make dining there worth it. Visit the restaurant this week and share your thoughts in the comment section.
