Floyd Mayweather apparently has money to burn, but the boxer likely won't face charges for setting fire to a $100 bill while partying at an Atlanta area nightclub this weekend, according to celebrity gossip website TMZ.

The website has posted photos of a smiling Mayweather lighting a hundred dollar bill at the Velvet Room Lounge at 3358 Chamblee Tucker Road.

The popular lounge's website announced a welcome home party hosted by Mayweather and Atlanta-based hip-hop star Gucci Mane, who was recently released from the Fulton County jail on a misdemeanor battery charge for pushing a woman from his moving vehicle, according to police reports.

While it's against the law to burn money, the unbeaten five-division world champion probably won't get prosecuted for burning his bill, several law enforcement agencies told TMZ.

Technically, those found guilty of the offense can face six months in prison and a fine of -- $100.

Mayweather is set to return to the ring in September when he challenges welterweight title holder Victor Ortiz for the WBC championship, ending a one-year hiatus from boxing.
