The Discovery Channel’s “Shark Week” will get an assist from Georgia Aquarium with the Shark Cam, a high-definition underwater camera stationed inside the aquarium’s shark-filled Ocean Voyager habitat.

“Shark Week” airs July 31-Aug. 6 with live footage streaming from Ocean Voyager; the aquarium will also provide streaming and video content for www.discovery.com/sharkweek.

Live online chat sessions with Discovery Channel shark experts and Georgia Aquarium biologists are slated for 11 p.m. Aug. 1-2 and4 and 10 p.m. Aug. 3.
