Country music legend Loretta Lynn is postponing two shows in Iowa because of exhaustion.
A statement from Lynn’s representative on the singer’s website says the 81-year-old started feeling poorly midway through her three-week tour and is taking some time off to be treated.
The statement says Lynn, who just finished a Canadian tour, is rescheduling both Iowa shows.
Last year, the singer postponed two shows to undergo more physical therapy following total knee replacement surgery.
Lynn was born in the coalfields of eastern Kentucky and chronicled her life in an autobiography and song, both titled “Coal Miner’s Daughter.”

The Jonas Brothers are disbanding.
Nick, Joe and Kevin announced Tuesday they’re ending their highly successful run. The news comes after the brothers abruptly canceled their tour over creative differences earlier this month.
The breakup was first reported by People magazine. Publicist Jesse Derris confirmed the news and said no other details were available.
The brothers told People the breakup was unanimous and came after Nick Jonas told his brothers in a meeting earlier this month that he felt “trapped.” The New Jersey brothers formed the band in 2005 and built a fan base through their association with the Disney Channel.
The band had been scheduled to release its fifth album later this year.

Chris Brown's misdemeanor assault charge in Washington, D.C., could further complicate the R&B singer's unsettled legal situation. Additional time behind bars remains a possibility for the singer — both in the District of Columbia and California — where Brown remains on probation for his 2009 beating of his on-again, off-again girlfriend Rihanna. Brown emerged from a Washington court on Monday flashing a peace sign after spending more than a day in custody on a charge filed after a man accused the Grammy winner and his bodyguard of punching him and breaking his nose outside a local hotel. Brown's arrest early Sunday comes at a crucial time for the singer, who is releasing an album this winter and is under a deadline to complete hundreds of hours of community service to satisfy his sentence for the Rihanna attack.
