"Finding Neverland,” which is at the Fox Theatre through Sunday, May 21, tells the story of J.M. Barrie, the playwright behind Peter Pan.

The show stars Billy Harrigan Tighe, who grew up in Marietta, as Barrie. You might recognize the show’s title from the 2004 movie starring Johnny Depp, but it was turned into a 2015 Broadway musical. The show is now on a national tour.

See what Tighe thought of taking on the lead role in “Finding Neverland” on the AJC’s arts blog.

How's the show? AJC critic Wendell Brock gives it a B-. He says "the results are a bit mixed. Still, it must be noted that the spectacle is beautifully designed and strongly performed by a nimble ensemble." Read his review of "Finding Neverland" on our premium site, myAJC.com.
