Private Quarters: Art, activity abound in Buckhead home

Artist and homeowner Nancy B. Westfall painted her dining room walls by drawing the chinoiserie-inspired floral design in chalk. "I left it in chalk for two years," she said. "Then people would bump into it and get it erased. I had to finally make it permanent." Artwork and a vase made by people with special needs from Creative Growth Art Center in Oakland, Calif., introduce more color into the room.
