If you are curious about three broadcast shows set to come out during the 2015-16 season shot in metro Atlanta, here are the trailers for two of the shows: the CW's "Containment" (midseason) and ABC's "Quantico" (fall). NBC has not yet released a trailer for "Game of Silence" (midseason) but I'll post it here if or when they actually release one.

"Containment" looks a bit like "Contagion" and many other films involving deadly, fast-spreading viruses. In this case, the show focuses on one particular small portion of Atlanta (a map pops up focused on a fictional Atlanta hospital) where folks are quarantined in the early aftermath of the breakout. The trailer shows a Patient Zero from Syria, a MARTA train, a CDC official proclaiming that the virus is 100% deadly and various folks who are separated by the quarantine.

The creator is Julie Plec, the mastermind behind "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals," also shot here.

In "Quantico," Priyanka Chopra plays a would-be FBI agent who naturally sleeps with someone right before entering boot camp and (surprise!) he's right there at said boot camp. Think of the opening scene of "Grey's Anatomy" or 100 meet-cute romantic films. There's a dreamy "golden boy" the ladies are swooning over but clearly in over his head. And a future terrorist. Who is it? I'm sure we won't know immediately. We flash forward: a big bomb takes out a building in the biggest domestic terrorist attack since 9/11. It appears Priyanka's character is being framed. How will she get out of this mess? "I need to find the truth," she proclaims in the trailer.

Here's how NBC is describing it:

Carol Mendelsohn, executive producer and architect of the CSI phenomenon, presents a gripping new drama about a successful Atlanta attorney (David Lyons, "Revolution") whose long-lost childhood friends unexpectedly reappear after 25 years. When a dark secret they thought they'd buried resurfaces, the brotherhood bands together to right the wrongs of their shared past - a journey that will push the limits of their loyalty and quench their thirst for revenge.
