Atlanta-based Adult Swim's "Robot Chicken" series has tackled the biggest film series "Star Wars" before. Now it's creating a special focused exclusively on AMC's popular zombie series "The Walking Dead."

Robert Kirkman, the creator of the graphic novel series and Scott Gimple, the "Walking Dead" show runner, will cooperate on the stop motion, adult animated sketch comedy series, which has aired eight seasons and debuted in 2005.  The special's release is TBA.

Other shows include the return of "Samurai Jack" after 12 years, a new season of the "Eric Andre Show," a live action adventure dubbed "Montana James," a wacky workplace comedy set in a dream therapy lab and an animated sketch show called "Brad Neely's Harg Nallin' Sclopio Peepio."

Adult Swim is also expanding beyond its limited evening and overnight hours on cable TV, where it shares space with Cartoon Network. It has now begun streaming 24/7, including fresh content exclusive to online viewers.
