NeNe Leakes does not show up in this episode at all. She clearly needed a break after the disastrous "Bye Wig" party last week.
But a good portion of the episode featured folks talking about her and what happened that night.
Shamari had blacked out that evening and didn't recall touching Eva and Tanya inappropriately or throwing up on Eva. But the women were empathetic. Her hubby Ronnie DeVoe was mildly concerned about her drinking but she insists she is not an alcoholic. She does appear to be a binge drinker. Only later did Marlo give Shamari a hard time but that's Marlo's not-so-subtle way of getting air time.
At the party last week, NeNe got super upset when Kandi and then Porsha wandered into her closet to check it out. Clearly, the closet was not “camera ready” and NeNe kept saying not to go in there, Kandi and Porsha ignored her and when a camera man started going in, NeNe grabbed him.
Most of the rest of the footage was not shown but apparently, NeNe got super angry and Kandi and Porsha fled the house.
Both eventually apologized to NeNe via text. NeNe was not in a mood to talk.
We will see her again next week at what will likely be the season finale: Eva’s wedding. In the trailer, she mentioned that Gregg wanted to separate. So she was clearly NOT in the mood to be at a wedding.

The second half of the episode focused on rehearsals and the stage show for Kandi's "Welcome to the Dungeon" burlesque show at Buckhead Theatre.
Shamari lost her voice but fortunately, she only had to lip sync and it went off without a hitch. Cynthia was placed on stage with no rehearsal. Kandi did that on purpose to surprise Cynthia. Kandi wanted to make it dirtier but said Cynthia seemed too “innocent.”
Two notable no shows for the “dungeon” party: NeNe and Porsha. Porsha was the reason why the whole “sex dungeon” idea happened because she (falsely) accused Kandi of having one, one of many rumors spread by Phaedra Parks two seasons ago.
Kandi created the show in part to diffuse that earlier mess.
Also, Eva finally found her final reception dress. Although her wedding went $50,000 over budget, she said she was able to pay for it.

RHOA "magic timing"
The show makes it seem like "Welcome to the Dungeon" happened before Eva's wedding. But Eva got hitched on October 7, 2018 and "Welcome to the Dungeon" happened five days later.
