Former 92.9/The Game evening host Mark Zinno subbed in this morning on 93.7/680 The Fan.
He's doing fill-in work for the holidays, said Fan owner David Dickey.
Dickey over the years has hired former hosts of the now defunct 790/The Zone such as Nick Cellini, Matt Chernoff, Chuck Oliver, Chris Dimino, Sandra Golden and Steak Shapiro, to name a few.
Zinno worked at the Game for three years until April when he was cut after airing a repeat hour of his show at 2 a.m. without permission from the bosses. He was well liked among viewers. A poll I posted that day had 58 percent who liked him, 26 percent who didn't and 16 percent indifferent.

Tyler Perry will have three shows on OWN at the same time next month: his new spin-off sitcom "The Paynes,' his hit drama "The Haves and the Have Nots" and "If Loving You Is Wrong."
"The Paynes," which includes many characters from the original TBS series "Meet the Paynes," debuts Tuesday, January 16 at 10 p.m.
'The Haves and the Have Nots" season five debuts at 9 p.m. January 9 while the second half of season four of "If Loving You is Wrong" returns at 10 p.m. January 10.

In Tyler Perry's new comedy series, The Paynes, Cassi Davis and LaVan Davis reprise their roles as Ella and Curtis Payne, from the hit series House of Payne. As Curtis and Ella are enjoying their retirement, a death in the family takes them on the road to Florida, where Curtis is roped into a real estate deal that will tumble their lives like clothes in a dryer – with plenty of laughs and life lessons along the way. The Paynes also stars Emmy-winner Jackeé Harry, Stephanie Charles, Markice Moore, JD McCrary, Sanai Victoria and Anthony O. Dalton.

Jon Mero of Atlanta was the first contestant eliminated from the first live show of "The Voice" on Tuesday night, a bit of a surprise.
The corporate band singer, who hails originally from St. Louis, landed in the bottom two after his cover of Major's "Why I Love You" despite some strong praise from the judges. He was also one of the few singers to receive all four judge's turns during his initial audition.
In the Instant Save competition, he faced off against fellow Adam Levine singer Adam Cunningham.
Mero sang "I Want You Back" as his instant save song, which thematically worked given the situation, but the title didn't work out for him quite as well as it did for Cunningham, who chose the apt song title "Fortunate Son." The viewers voted 54-46 for Cunningham, who gave a more intense, heartfelt performance. The Jackson 5 song felt more like party-time shtick. A more emotional ballad might have gotten Mero enough votes to survive.
