Ten months ago, Georgia's cooking queen Paula Deen found her reputation tattered and torn by racial slurs she had made in the past. She lost her Food Network shows and most of her sponsorship deals.
But her core fan base never left her. She has since signed a deal in February worth an estimated $75 million with an investment company Najafi Companies to help pave her way back to glory.
Part of that comeback plan includes a 20-city live tour, with a stop at Woodruff Arts Center August 26. Tickets will be available soon. I'll include a link once I know what the details are. I presume there will be tiered pricing and a special meet-and-greet ticket available as well.
The show will feature cooking demonstrations, games with audience members and personal stories.
