It appears he's starting from scratch with followers. As of 4 p.m. today, he has eight so far, including me. (His previous handle was @mikebell929). Among the first to follow him back: former 790/The Zone colleague Nick Cellini, now a morning host on the Fan (680/93.7)
Bell got in trouble on Twitter in early October when he became incensed that ESPN used softball player Jessica Mendoza as an analyst for a Major League Baseball playoff game. He didn't think she was qualified and on Twitter used a crude "Anchorman" insult to punctuate his thoughts.
Soon after, he took down his Twitter account.
His new descriptive:
I believe women should be able to accomplish anything they set out to do in this world. especially if that goal is replacing Joe Buck.
