A season couldn't go by without a little tension between the Good Guy Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez on "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta."
She became jealous last week when she found out Stevie J worked with Tiffany Foxx, one of Mimi Faust's two clients. So she went and worked with another producer. She claimed to Stevie J it wasn't anybody he knew.
But while fishing with the guys, Scrappy informed Stevie J about her going behind his back.
He is angry and approaches Joseline about her betrayal. "This is my music business," he says.
"You want me to sit around and be a maid?" Joseline says. She wants him to come to her next concert where she'll showcase the song she recorded with this other dude.
He is not pleased and in trailers, he apparently writes her a letter and leaves before she returns to the dressing room.
(Joseline, who is bi-sexual, also decides to work with a gay charity and tearfully talks to them about her background. It's an unusual moment of vulnerability from her, an obvious attempt by the producers to humanize her.)

In a related story, Mimi's other client Jessica Dime heard about Tiffany's work with Stevie J and Jazzy Pha and thought Mimi was dissing her behind her back.
So as revenge (since revenge is always delightful and juvenile at the same time on this show), Jessica teams up with Mimi's ex's ex Margeaux for a duet. But she does not tell Mimi, of course.
Mimi sets up a showcase for Jessica at Enclave in Midtown and Stevie J even comes along for moral support, along with bestie Ariana. Jessica comes on stage, her ta-tas so revealing that VH1 has to blur them out "Naked and Dating" style. Mimi is hoping this showcase date would encourage Jessica to sign a contract with her.
Instead, Jessica wants to "Start a War," the name of her duet with Margeaux.
The episode ends in typical cliffhanger fashion with teasers showing Mimi yelling at Jessica.

Kirk surprises Rasheeda with her own store, something she's been bugging him about for ages. Until now, he had been resisting. Suddenly, he changes his mind. This is all absurd. Why does he need to surprise her with something this important? Why can't she decide on her own where her store would be? Why couldn't they have discussed this before hand like a normal couple? Kirk is perpetually shady about finances.
Fortunately, Rasheeda likes the space in Buckhead's chic Phipps Plaza. Pricey? I'm sure. Can Kirk really afford it - plus pay for inventory up front? I guess so for now.
"My crazy a** husband has out done himself," Rasheeda burbles. "This is one secret I don't mind him keeping from me."
She opens the store in June and that event will be featured next week.

Mama Dee's wedding with Ernest is drawing near but she never bothered to tell her son Scrappy. She blames his lack of communication when communication is a two-way street.
He had originally given Ernest his blessing to marry her. But he didn't think the wedding would happen so quickly. "This fool is moving fast," Scrappy says. Scrappy's skeptical sister Jasmine is feeding Scrappy more negatives about Erent.
He finally approaches his mom. He is especially upset that ex Erica Dixon would be there as a bridesmaid and said if she's there, he isn't going to walk her down the aisle.
"Why can't he get past it?" Mama Dee laments.
Erica graciously steps down as a bridesmaid, relieved she won't have to stand by Bambi, Scrappy's current girl (more or less.) Erica is confused by Scrappy's actions. She thinks Scrappy is a mama's boy upset that his mom is getting married.

Kalenna Harper goes to therapy over post-partum depression after her absurd blow up with Rasheeda over not much. Her husband Tony Vick wasn't terribly politic blabbing about it but he had her best interests at heart.

Off this week: Yung Joc and Miss Piggy! And while Tiffany Foxx and Bambi are referenced, they aren't seen.
