Former Channel 2 Action News anchor Erin Coleman has joined the NBC affiliate in her hometown of Philadelphia WCAU-TV.

Coleman will be co-anchoring the 5 p.m. news and reporting for other newscasts. She begins next week.

"Erin's extensive news background, coupled with her passion for storytelling and connecting with the community, will be a great addition to NBC10 News," said Anzio Williams, vice president of news for NBC10 and Telemundo62, in a prepared statement. "We look forward to having her on our team."

Coleman, who was pregnant when she left WSB-TV, now has a healthy baby daughter, her second child. On her WSB-TV Facebook page, which is still around, she posted a photo of her on September 12.

WSB-TV and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution are both part of Cox Media Group.
