WE-TV is currently shooting the third season of “Mama June: From Not to Hot.”

According to the Georgia film office, the reality show will be in production through April of 2019.

"Mama" June Shannon, who now lives in Hampton, had gastric bypass surgery in 2016 and lost 300 pounds, getting down for a time to a size 4. The first season in 2017 chronicled her adjustment to being so much smaller.

Season two this year showed her backsliding as she began regaining some of that weight. She also found a new boyfriend Geno.

"Mama June" - which is in effect a spin-off from the original TLC show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" - also features Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, Lauryn "Pumpkin," Mama June's sister Doe Doe, Alana's dad and Mama June's ex Sugar Bear and his wife Jennifer.
