Atlantans have never made it to the finals of "The Voice." And that is the case again for the 11th round.

Local singer Aaron Gibson, who escaped three Instant Saves three weeks in a row before the semi-finals, was cut partway through the results show.

He didn't even make the Instant Save run-off.

On Monday, Gibson inexplicably tackled a lousy Bryan Adams song "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You." On the MJ's Big Blog, he finished eighth out of eight with just 2.46 percent of the vote.  And he was the top choice to be cut Tuesday.

He finished well behind the other seven on the iTunes chart. The top two were Sundance Head and Billy Gilman.

Despite Ali Caldwell's cover of "I Will Always Love You" getting plaudits Monday, she ended up getting cut on Tuesday during the Instant Save. Guys almost always win those Twitter saves and Josh Gallagher survived and made the top four with Head, Gilman and the lone female We McDonald.

Who will win next week? Head and Gilman remain the favorites.
