"Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast member Cynthia Bailey, who is separated from her husband Peter Thomas, is close to selling her Glenwood Park townhome which went on sale a month ago.
It was listed for sale July 14. A buyer was accepted just 11 days later.
According to zillow.com, the house is now "pending," which means it hasn't closed yet but there is a buyer who has committed to the home. As anyone in real estate knows, the deal could collapse at any time before the contracts are signed on closing date. But the fact they are even in escrow right now indicates how hot the in-town market is, even for a house priced as high as $699,000. TMZ said, without attribution, that she received close to her asking price of $699,000.
In her neighborhood, it's a relatively pricey property. Zillow notes that comparable homes in the area have sold for between $361,000 and $655,000. According to trulia, the median sale price of a home in Ormewood Park is $261,000 and the average home for sale is priced at $345,615.
Her townhome is much larger than most surrounding properties, with 4,500 square feet, four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The official descriptive:
