"Mama June" Shannon has been estranged from her family thanks to her boyfriend, forced to sell her home and was arrested last year for cocaine possession.

WE-TV since 2017 had been chronicling her life when she lost a lot of weight and called it “Mama June: From Not to Hot.” It was primarily a lighthearted show about her shenanigans with her family and struggles keeping the weight off.

But the show proved that weight loss alone does not necessarily turn one’s life around. And it seems given what happened last year, WE-TV would not be giving this show another season.

Then today came some surprising news: WE-TV has more episodes coming with the added title appendage: "Family Crisis." It's set to return next month. The promo below gives us no information beyond a now teenage Alana Thompson (AKA Honey Boo Boo) eating cereal with a milk carton with the words "Missing" over her mom's face.

TMZ has been the most consistent chronicler of Mama June's woes. The most recent tidbit was earlier this month where she and her boyfriend Geno Doak got booted from a McDonough Residence Inn Marriott for $2,000 in unpaid bills.

The website’s sources tell them that she has pushed her family away and lives from hotel to hotel.
