Remember DeAnna Pappas? If you do, you are truly dedicated fan of 'The Bachelor."

The former Newnan real estate agent was "The Bachelorette" in 2008 but she dumped snowboarder Jesse Csincsak quickly. The now 33 year old has since moved on, marrying Stephen Stagliano (the twin brother of a "Bachelor" alum) in 2011 and is now pregnant with her second child with him.

They had their first child last year.

I have access to overnight ratings for basic cable shows. Overnight ratings nowadays only tell part of the story, especially for scripted dramas, where people frequently watch on demand or on DVR.

Here are some ratings of Atlanta-produced shows airing right now in Atlanta from the week Monday, August 10 through Sunday August 16. (I excluded Weather Channel's shows like "AMHQ," which often draws 100,000 to 140,000)

  • "The Haves and the Have Nots," OWN, season 2, aired August 11: 3.11 million (ranked 7th)
  • "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta," VH1, season 4, episode 16, aired August 10: 2.93 million (ranked 10th overall)
  • "Complications," USA, season 1, aired August 13: 1.397 million
  • "Don't Be Tardy" Bravo, season 4 debut, aired August 16: 1.375 million
  • "Devious Maids" Lifetime, season 3, episode 12, August 10: 1.339 million
  • "Aqua Teen Hunger Forever, Adult Swim, August 16: 1.147 million
  • "Married to Medicine," Bravo, August 16: 1.127 million
  • "Sunday Best," BET, August 16: 1 million
  • "The Carbonaro Effect," TruTV, August 12: 886,000
  • "Atlanta Plastic," Lifetime, August 14, 678,000

Atlanta-based TBS is working again with Mark Burnett to develop an inventor reality program.

The network is working with Intel to make it happen.

It will be called "America's Greatest Makers." According to Variety:

Leading up to the series launch, shortform content tied to "America's Greatest Makers" will be featured broadly across the Turner portfolio, including the linear and digital platforms of TNT, Adult Swim, TruTV, HLN, CNN and Bleacher Report website.

Last year's "Last Comic Standing" winner from Villa Rica Rod Man (Rod Thompson) is now working with NBC and Wanda Sykes on a new comedy where he returns to his hometown.

The as-yet untitled project, from Universal TV, revolves around a successful comedian (Rod Man) who uproots his wife and daughter from L.A. to his hometown of Villa Rica, GA, to care for his strong-willed mother because, ironically, the stand-up comic is more stable and responsible than his self-important brother and materialistic sister.

Will the comedy actually be shot in Atlanta?  Kenny Smith, executive producer of "The Game" (which was shot in Atlanta), is involved so you never know.
