TV best bets with Super Bowl, season endings for 'American Horror Story,' 'White Collar'

Of course, the big event this week is the Super Bowl. What? You haven't heard?

Broncos vs. Seahawks. Manning vs. that other quarterback. Pepsi vs. Coke. Bruno Mars vs. Red Hot Chili Peppers.

That's on Sunday on Fox.

And President Obama will be doing his State of the Union address on Tuesday on many networks but will likely draw far fewer viewers than the Super Bowl five days later.

We also have the season finales of FX's "American Horror Story" Wednesday and "White Collar" Thursday.

This covers Monday, January 27 through Sunday, February 2.

MONDAY

"The Bachelor" 8 p.m. ABC — Juan Pablo courts 13 remaining bachelorettes in Seoul, South Korea.

"How I Met Your Mother" 8 p.m. CBS (200th episode) — Life from the mother's point of view for a change.

"Hollywood Game Night " 8 p.m. NBC — Players include Angie Harmon and Henry Winkler.

"The Following " 9 p.m. Fox — Ryan's obsession grows after the subway killings.

"Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook Off " 9 p.m. Food — Herschel Walker is doing well so far and may excel in a chicken wing cook-off given he owns a chicken company.

"Mike & Molly " 9 p.m. CBS — Mike and Molly move in with Peggy after an argument over money.

"Single Ladies " 9 p.m. VH1 — Different business approaches plague Raquel and Terrence.

"Castle " 10 p.m. ABC — The assistant of a ruthless fashion editor is killed.

"Intelligence " 10 p.m. CBS  — Poor ratings are dooming this drama to cancellation soon.

TUESDAY

"The Biggest Loser" 8 p.m. NBC — The top 5 players compete in a spring triathlon.

" The State of the Union Address" 9 p.m. ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, C-Span, GPB, CNBC, Bloomberg, Al Jazeera — President Barack Obama delivers the traditional annual address before a joint session of Congress.

"Face Off" 9 p.m. Syfy — Dragon makeups are created by the 13 remaining artists.

"The Haves and the Have Nots " 9 p.m. OWN — This Tyler Perry soap hit series highs in ratings last week.

"The Capones" 10 p.m. Reelz (new series) — The family with the notorious family runs a restaurant.

"Cougar Town" 10 p.m. TBS — Buccaneer Week in Gulf Haven turns the town in a pirate's cove.

"Justified" 10 p.m. FX — Raylan searches for a missing informant.

WEDNESDAY

"American Idol " 8 p.m. Fox — Auditions head to Salt Lake City.

"Revolution " 8 p.m. NBC— Charlie and Connor accompany Monroe on a risky mission.

"Super Bowl's Greatest Commercials 2014 " 9 p.m. CBS — Hosts Boomer Esiason and Sarah Shahi look at the best commercials of past Super Bowls and preview upcoming ones.

"Law & Order: SVU " 9 p.m. NBC— A teen girl's parents report her kidnapped.

"Miley Cyrus: MTV Unplugged " 9 p.m. MTV — Will she keep her tongue in control?

"Psych " 9 p.m. USA — An ex-con takes Woody hostage.

"Kitten Bowl" noon Sunday Hallmark — Take that, Animal Planet's "Puppy Bowl"!

"Puppy Bowl" 3 p.m. Sunday Animal Planet — Cuteness reigns supreme.
