Don't cool it now. The heat this week will be on New Edition, who will be featured in a three-part miniseries on BET Tuesday. They will be honored on Sunday for the Trumpet Awards.
A few shows are back from winter break like the entire Thursday night Shonda Rhimes shows and the fourth season of "Black Sails" on Sunday on Starz. Hulu brings back "The Path" on Wednesday while Amazon introduces "Z" on Friday. And the CW tries a less sanitized version of the Archie Comics in "Riverdale" Thursday.

MONDAY
"The Bachelor" 8 p.m. ABC — An upset bachelorette confronts Nick about his forward behavior with another woman.
"Gotham" 8 p.m. Fox — While on the run from Gordon and Bullock, Dwight tries to revive Jerome.
"The New Celebrity Apprentice" 8 p.m. NBC — Atlanta's Porsha Williams is in the top 10.
"2 Broke Girls" 9 p.m. CBS — Max and Caroline return from their road trip.
"The Young Pope" 9 p.m. HBO — A burial for a nun's sister at the Vatican is arranged by Lenny.
"Scorpion" 10 p.m. CBS — The team must rescue a man teetering on the edge of a massive sinkhole that threatens to destroy Los Angeles' water supply.
"Beware the Slenderman" 10 p.m. HBO — This documentary examines a 2014 incident in which two 12-year-old girls stabbed a friend on the orders of a fictional character called the "Slenderman."
"Timeless" 10 p.m. NBC — Flynn joins forces with legendary outlaw Jesse James.
"Quantico" 10 p.m. ABC — The recruits are taught the art of seduction.
TUESDAY
"NCIS" 8 p.m. CBS — During an NCIS hit-and-run investigation, Palmer joins a stranger on the ledge of a building in an attempt to save his life.
"Face Off" 9 p.m. Syfy (11th season debut)— A group of returning all-stars compete in Season 11.
"The Wall" 8 p.m. NBC — Atlanta's Ebony Wardlaw competes with her sister Deanna from Dallas.
"The Have and the Have Nots" 9 p.m. OWN — Jim helps Katheryn clean up a mess.
"The New Edition Story" 9 p.m. BET (part one of three) — Five young Boston boys form to become New Edition.
"This is Us" 9 p.m. NBC — Rebecca and Jack become overwhelmed after deciding to throw three separate birthday parties for their kids.
"Bones" 9:01 p.m. Fox — Aubrey's dad resurfaces and immediately presents a moral dilemma for him.
"NCIS: New Orleans" 10 p.m. CBS — Pride investigates a murder on a deep-sea-oil rig.
"Chicago Fire" 10 p.m NBC — Dawson has difficulties keeping her emotions in check during a run with a pregnant teen.
"Tattoo Girls" 10 p.m TLC (new series) — An all-female team of tattoo artists cater to a diverse slate of clients in Springfield, Mo.
"Uncensored With Michael Ware" 10 p.m NGC (new series) — Journalist Michael Ware investigates intriguing people, places and cultures. In the opener, he travels to New Guinea to seek out women who are considered witches and subject to being hunted and killed.
WEDNESDAY
"The Path" 3:01 Hulu (second season debut) — The Path follows the Meyerist Movement as it tries to make sense of Doctor Meyer's mysterious departure.
"Hunted" 8 p.m. CBS (time slot debut) — The investigators and hunters are challenged by the ingenuity of several teams, including a pair that go off the grid.
"Frequency" 9 p.m. the CW (first season finale) — Raimy makes a startling discovery that leads her to reach out to Frank to voice her concerns. Meanwhile, truths are revealed.

"Top Chef " 9 p.m. Bravo — A blindfolded taste experiment tests the chefs.
