Miley Cyrus is expected to make a ruckus at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday.

On the same weekend, NBC retires "Hannibal" forever and the end of the day is nigh for TNT's "Falling Skies" after five successful seasons.

Other shows ending their summer runs: Lifetime's "Devious Maids" and MTV's "Teen Wolf" Monday, USA' "Suits" and new hit show "Mr. Robot" on Wednesday, AMC's "Hell on Wheels' Saturday and BET's 'Sunday Best' on Sunday.

And a most notable new series on TNT starring Ed Burns "Public Morals" debuts on Tuesday.

This covers Monday, August 24, 2015 to Sunday, August 30, 2015.

MONDAY

"American Ninja Warrior" 8 p.m. NBC — The season's best runs are spotlighted.

"Rachael Ray's Kid's Cook-Off " 8 p.m. Food (new series) — Food is obviously playing off Fox's 'MasterChef Junior." Two local kids are involved.

"Bachelor in Paradise " 8 p.m. ABC — Mikey and Juelia go on a date to Guadalajara, Mexico.

"So You Think You Can Dance " 8 p.m. Fox — The top 8 perform.

" Devious Maids " 9 p.m. Lifetime (third season finale)  — The maids put their own lives at risk to unmask a killer.

"Murder in the First " 10 p.m. TNT (second season finale) — Terry and Hildy swarm in on a murder suspect.

"Teen Wolf " 10:01 p.m. MTV (fifth season summer finale) — Scott and the pack face what may be their biggest threat yet.

"Running Wild With Bear Grylls " 10:01 p.m. NBC — James Marsden joins Bear in Utah's Rattlesnake Canyon.

TUESDAY

"America's Got Talent" 8 p.m. NBC — Twelve more acts perform.

"Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" 8 p.m. Fox — An aerospace engineer and an assistant professor compete.

" Monica the Medium " 8 p.m. ABC Family (new series) — Jake acts quickly to save the Saga from sinking; Josh heads towards the ice pack.

" Rizzoli & Isles " 9 p.m. TNT — A body turns up in Boston with a connection to another murder in Los Angeles.

" Zoo " 9 p.m. CBS — Jamie contacts a fellow journalist in an attempt to expose the truth about Reiden's involvement in the global animal problem

"Playing House " 10 p.m. USA — An injured Mark moves in with Emma and Maggie.

"Real Husbands of Hollywood " 10 p.m. BET — After Kevin invites Salli Richardson to the poker game, her husband Dondre Whitfield challenges him to a joke-off.

"My Fab 40th " 10 p.m. Bravo (new series) — Former sorority sisters set out to have a joint 40th birthday bash and reach out to a quirky party planner in the series premiere of this reality show that puts the spotlight on the world of high-end birthday parties.

"Public Morals " 10 p.m. TNT (new series) — This drama delves into the crime-fighting efforts of the Public Morals Division in 1960s New York City.

"Scream " 10 p.m. MTV — Emma, who doubts that the actual killer has been captured, teams with Piper to find answers at the Halloween dance.

"Tyrant " 10 p.m. FX — A sandstorm helps Barry overrun the Caliphate's military base.

"Hollywood Game Night" 10:01 p.m. NBC — Celebrity players include Paul Scheer, Amy Smart, Constance Wu, and Randall Park.

"Another Period " 10:30 p.m. Comedy (first season finale) — Chair's true intentions are revealed.

WEDNESDAY

"America's Got Talent" 8 p.m. NBC — Seven acts advance.

"Masterchef " 8 p.m. Fox — The Top 6 cooks split up into teams to take over a Los Angeles restaurant.

"Katrina 10 Years Later " 8 p.m. BET — The impact of Hurricane Katrina 10 years later.

"The Carmichael Show " 9 p.m. NBC (new series) — Jerrod moves in with his girlfriend, yet he's reluctant to tell his opinionated parents about the new living arrangement.

"Extant " 9 p.m. CBS — Molly has a vision she can't shake following a near-death experience.

"Ghost Hunters " 9 p.m. Syfy (10th season debut) — The Wild Turkey Distillery in Kentucky is investigated by TAPS, who look for traces of the ghosts of the founding family members.

"Suits " 9 p.m. USA (fifth season summer finale) — Jessica and Louis try to rally the partners to stop the takeover attempt by Hardman and Soloff.

"Home Free " 9 p.m. Fox —The competition intensifies as contestants face elimination.

"The Jim Gaffigan Show " 10 p.m. TV Land —Jim gets a big break when he is asked to perform on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," but Jeannie invites their priest to the show, which irks Jim.

" Last Comic Standing " 10 p.m. NBC — The semifinal round continues with 21 additional comics competing for a slot in the Top 10.

"Mr. Robot " 10 p.m. USA (first season finale) — Mr. Robot and Tyrell are MIA; and a past hack haunts Elliot.

"Celebrity Wife Swap " 10 p.m. ABC — CeCe Peniston and Kellie Williams swap places.

THURSDAY

"Beyond Scared Straight" 9 p.m. A&E — Scaring kids in Douglas County.

"Big Brother" 9 p.m. CBS — James is hilarious but might very well be evicted.

"Mistresses" 9 p.m. ABC — Karen helps Vivian keep a secret in order to benefit Alec

"Project Runway" 9 p.m. Lifetime — The designers visit Mood and put a modern twist on a classic design. Actress Kiernan Shipka appears as a guest judge.

"Documentary Now" 10 p.m. IFC  — A satire of groundbreaking documentaries done by Vice.

"Rookie Blue" 10 p.m. ABC — Andy considers leaving town for four months on an undercover assignment as she struggles to deal with the birth of Sam and Marlo's baby.

"Graceland" 10 p.m. USA — Ari rises through the ranks of the Armenian mob; Briggs dodges new suspicions from his housemates.

"Power & Ice" 10 p.m. History (new series) — Yet another reality show set in Alaska. This one follows the employees of three competitive companies that work to maintain service on the remote Alaskan power grid begins with them being threatened by avalanches.

"Under the Dome" 10 p.m. CBS — The Resistance try to free loved ones from Christine's influence before she finishes her plan.

FRIDAY

"Narcos" 3:01 a.m. Netflix (new series) — This series chronicles the gripping real-life stories of the drug kingpins of the late 1980s

"Defiance" 8 p.m. Syfy (third season finale)  — A potential suicide mission is agreed to be the only way to end the Omec threat once and for all.

"Kendra on Top" 9 p.m. WE — Kendra's wild time in London continues, much to the chagrin of Hank

"Cold Justice: Sex Crimes" 9 p.m. TNT— Casey and Alicia investigate the rape of a teacher on an elementary-school campus in Arkansas.

"Atlanta Plastic" 10 p.m. Lifetime —A stylist visits Dr. Jones to get rid of his man-boobs.

WEEKEND

"Cedar Cove" 8 p.m. Saturday Hallmark — Paul cautions Olivia to be leery of Liz and her true motives.

"Blunt Talk" 9 p.m. Saturday Starz Walter blows a chance to cover a storm that could give his career a shot in the arm.

"Hannibal" 9 p.m. Saturday NBC (series finale) Will hatches a cunning plot to slay Francis Dolarhyde.
