TV best bets with Megyn Kelly, series finales of 'T.I.& Tiny,' 'The Leftovers,' return of 'America's Got Talent,' 'House of Cards'

Netflix is now such a big deal it seems like every single week I'm writing about some big series that they are featuring. They used to debut new series on Fridays only. Now they have such a flood of original programming, they are now debuting shows on Tuesdays as well.

The past three weeks has brought back new seasons of  "Master of None," "Bloodline" and "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt." This Tuesday, the fifth season of "House of Cards" arrives while the real presidential administration is attempting to supersede fiction.

Season 5 picks up right after Season 4, with President Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) battling for his political life in a contentious election while also struggling to maintain his marriage with his wife, Claire (Robin Wright).

The biggest summer show of "America's Got Talent" on NBC is back Tuesday for its 12th season with the same judges' panel but a new host in Tyra Banks.

Shows that are finishing their seasons: Fox's "Lucifer" Monday, FX's "The Americans" Tuesday, Fox's "Prison Break" Tuesday, CBS's "The Amazing Race" Thursday."

AMC's "Fear of Walking Dead" is back on Sunday. And two series are over: VH1's "T.I. & Tiny" after six seasons Monday and HBO's "The Leftovers" Sunday after three seasons.

Plus, former Fox News' host Megyn Kelly's debut on NBC comes Sunday at 7 p.m. And ABC is home for the NBA championships with a rematch of the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers.

This covers Monday, May 29 through Sunday June 4, 2017.

MONDAY, May 29

"The Bachelorette" 8 p.m. ABC — Rachel takes eight lucky guys to a backyard barbecue in Malibu where Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis help with a husband material obstacle course.

"Gotham" 8 p.m. Fox — Gordon races against the clock to save the city from the Alice Tetch virus.

"Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland" 8 p.m. Lifetime — Michael Jackson's life story is explored through the perspectives of his trusted bodyguards.

"America: Promised Land: Part 1" 9 p.m. History — An exploration of the cultural origins of the United States begins with a look at the Dutch settling in New Amsterdam, Quakers who fled England and German soldiers who fought for the North during the Civil War.

"Whose Line Is It Anyway" 9 p.m. the CW (13th season debut) — Tony Hawk guests.

"Lucifer" 9:01 p.m. Fox (second season finale) — In self-defense, Charlotte accidentally burns a man to death, leaving Lucifer to keep Chloe from figuring what really happened, so he puts Maze in charge of locating Charlotte and Amenadiel, who have both gone missing. Meanwhile, Lucifer seeks a permanent solution for the ticking-time-bomb that is his mother.

"T.I. & Tiny" 10 p.m. VH1 (series finale) — T.I. and Tiny put on a brave face for their family and throw Heiress a fun-filled christening. Later, the time has come for a decision to be made about their marriage.

"Still Star-Crossed" 10:01 p.m. ABC (new series) — The premiere of the drama about the Montagues and Capulets following the tragic deaths of Romeo and Juliet.

TUESDAY

"House of Cards" 3:01 a.m Netflix (fifth season debut) — Can the writers make this season as compelling as real life?

"Downward Dog" 8 p.m. ABC (time slot debut) — Nan takes Martin to work to keep Kevin at bay after she gets frustrated with him due to his interference in her ad campaign development, however Martin takes a liking to Kevin.

"America's Got Talent" 8 p.m. NBC (12th season debut) — Tyra Banks is the new host, replacing Nick Cannon.

"The Victorian Slum" 8 p.m. GPB (first season finale) — The finale details the social changes the slum dwellers face as they move into the 20th century.

"World of Dance" 8 p.m. NBC (new series) — A dance competition with judges Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough. 

"Animal Kingdom" 9 p.m. TNT (second season debut) — A risky heist misfires and the boys blame Smurf, sending shock waves through the family.

"America: Promised Land Part 2" 9 p.m. History — Examining how the Industrial Revolution sparked a flood of immigrants into the United States.

"Prison Break" 9 p.m. Fox (fifth season finale) — Dangerous threats keep Michael and Lincoln fighting to protect Sara and Mike.

"The Americans" 10 p.m. FX (fifth season finale) — Philip and Elizabeth race against the clock as a life hangs in the balance, while Stan faces an uncertain future.

"Fear Factor" 10 p.m. MTV (eighth season debut) — Ludacris hosts this updated version of the old NBC reality show.

WEDNESDAY

"The Handsmaid's Tale" 3:01 a.m. Hulu — Offred's "owner" appears to want to change things up when it comes to insemination time.

"Kingdom" 8 p.m. Audience (third season debut) — This drama about an MMA family will come to an end this season.

" Little Big Shots" 8 p.m. NBC — Skilled children include an 8-year-old newscaster, a young stand-up comic, a boy band from Mexico, an aerial acrobat from Moscow, viral-sensation sisters and accomplished ping-pong players.

"Masterchef" 8 p.m. Fox (eighth season debut) — Forty home cooks travel to Los Angeles and face off against each other with the goal of earning a place in the Top 20 in Part 1 of the Season 8 premiere.

"Big Star Little Star" 9 p.m. USA (new series) — Celebrities and their children test their knowledge of one another. First up: Todd Chrisley and son Grayson; Marissa Jaret Winokur and son Zev; and Chad Johnson and daughter Cha'iel.

"The Carmichael Show" 9 p.m. NBC (third season debut) — A family debate about consent ensues after Maxine's friend posts about her sexual assault on social media.

"The F Word With Gordon Ramsay" 9 p.m. Fox (new series)  — Cooking show meets variety show in a live format.

"Fargo" 10 p.m. FX  — Gloria tries to work around the system; Nikki finds herself in a familiar place; Varga comes up with an alternative plan; and Emmit goes to dinner.

THURSDAY

"NBA championship game 1"9 p.m. ABC — It's a rematch between the Warriors and the Cavaliers.

"Love Connection " 9 p.m. Fox  — Title of this episode is tasty: "Rowdy with a side of Meatballs."

"Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta " 9 p.m. WE (time slot debut) — Bow Wow struggles with the big decision to return to Atlanta, while he faces baby-mama drama.

"Nashville " 9 p.m. CMT (fifth season summer debut) — Deacon tries to help Daphne pass her history class, but Daphne isn't motivated.

"Inside the FBI " 9 p.m. USA (first season finale) — Special Agent Frank Pellegrino and his colleagues struggle with lessons learned in their 25 year fight against terrorism.

"The Amazing Race " 10 p.m. CBS (29th season finale) — The final three teams race to Chicago where they must complete their last challenges within the city's most iconic landmarks, including Wrigley Field, the home of the World Series champion Chicago Cubs, before they dash to the finish line.

FRIDAY

"Flaked" 3:01 a.m. Netflix (second season debut)  Chip returns to Venice after a short exile and finds that he is no longer welcome. People have not forgotten that he sold out the local community. And for what... ?

"RuPaul's Drag Race" 8 p.m. VH1  — The queens compete in a queer culture pageant, and design outfits inspired by the Village People.

"Reign" 9 p.m. the CW  — Mary pursues justice by launching a counterattack on her conspirators. Meanwhile, Elizabeth suffers a major setback, and it turns her world upside down.

"Soundtracks" 10 p.m. CNN (new time slot)  Kent State and the Vietnam War.

WEEKEND

"Destination Wedding" 9 tonight Hallmark — A woman plans a wedding for her sister in Acapulco and must work alongside the best man, who happens to be her ex-boyfriend. However, the situation grows complicated when the bride and groom don't show up.

"In an Instant" 9 tonight ABC (third season debut) — A family encounter a blizzard while traveling from California to Idaho for a funeral, eventually embarking on a three-day, 20-mile trek through the wilderness.

"Iyanla: Fix My Life" 9 tonight OWN (sixth season finale) — Iyanla talks to victims of the Pulse club terrorist attack last year in Orlando.

"Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly" 7 p.m. Sunday NBC (new series) — Her new talk show to compete with "60 Minutes."

"NBA Championships" 8 p.m. Sunday ABC — Game two of this fierce rivalry.

"American Ninja Warrior" 8 p.m. Sunday NBC — USA vs. the World!

"Fear the Walking Dead" 9 p.m. Sunday AMC (third season debut) — The Clark family find themselves in a dire predicament and must work together to discover a path to safety.

"The Leftovers" 9 p.m. Sunday HBO (75-minute series finale) — Creator Damon Lindelof says the finale will leave "no spinoff possibilities."

"Twin Peaks" 9 p.m. Sunday Showtime —The plot descriptive this week is even less informative than last week: "Case files."
