The truth is still out there. Fox on Sunday brings back yet another old show, this time "The X Files" with the originally Scully and Mulder more than 13 years after the series was cancelled.

Returning series include VH1's "Hit the Floor" for its third season Monday, ABC's "Marvel's Agent Carter" Tuesday for a second season, IFC's "Portlandia" for a sixth season Thursday and Adult Swim's 'Children's Hospital' Friday for a seventh season.

The CW's "DC's Agents of Tomorrow" Thursday adds yet another comic-book series to the genre. Other newbies: FX's "Baskets" Thursday, Amazon's "Mad Dogs" Friday and Esquire's "Beowulf" Sunday.

In the mood for a miniseries? A&E, History and Lifetime offer up "War & Peace" starting Monday.

And there are a couple of key NFL football playoff games Sunday, too.

MONDAY

"The Bachelor" 8 p.m. ABC — The twins survived the first two cuts.

"Antiques Roadshow" 8 p.m. GPB —  In Spokane, items include a 1938 "Snow White" banner; Chinese huanghuali cosmetic case; and 1860 John J. Audubon chromolithograph.

"Masterchef: Celebrity Showdown" 8 p.m. Fox — Terry Crews ("Brooklyn Nine-Nine") and his wife, Rebecca; Kaitlin Doubleday and Ta'Rhonda Jones ("Empire"); Boris Kodjoe ("The Last Man on Earth") and his wife, Nicole Ari Parker; former "MasterChef" winners Luca Manfe, Christine Ha and Claudia Sandoval; and Season 4 "MasterChef Junior" cooks Addison, Amaya and Zac; as well as models Gigi Hadid and Devon Windsor.

"Supergirl" 8 p.m. CBS — Kara does her best to support Winn.

"The Biggest Loser" 9 p.m. NBC — Digital distractions are used in an obstacle course.

"Hit the Floor" 9 p.m. VH1 (third season debut) — The Devils get ready for their championship ring ceremony.

"Scorpion" 9 p.m. CBS — Sylvester's estranged father, a retired general, enlists the team's help.

"War & Peace" 9 p.m. A&E, History, Lifetime (new miniseries) — Pierre Bezukhov inherits his father's fortune, leaving him at the mercy of fortune seekers.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" 9:59 p.m. CBS — The team investigates the murder of a tech entrepreneur turned venture capitalist who secretly developed a daemon, a background computer program that allows for undetectable data collection.

TUESDAY

"NCIS" 8 p.m. CBS — An international human-trafficking ring that was believed to be shut down is uncovered.

"Hollywood Game Night" 8 p.m. NBC — Marlon Wayans; Kevin Nealon; Bill Engvall; Mario Lopez; Nicole Scherzinger; and Miranda Cosgrove.

"Marvel's Captain America: 75 Heroic Years" 8 p.m. ABC — The history of Captain America is recounted.

"Pretty Little Liars" 8 p.m. Freeform — Aria starts to look suspicious as she immediately heads back to Boston.

"The Prancing Elites Project " 8 p.m. Oxygen (second season debut) — The team's success grows.

" Chicago Med" 9 p.m. NBC — Dark family secrets emerge when Dr. Rhodes' father is honored

"Marvel's Agent Carter " 9 p.m. ABC (second season debut) — After moving to Los Angeles to aid the West Coast branch of SSR, Peggy investigates a strange homicide in which the body glows and emanates cold.
