The Atlanta Hawks has signed a long-term deal with SportsSouth, its long-time TV partner for an unspecified length at an unspecified dollar amount.

During the 2014-15 NBA season, 75 regular season Hawks games will be televised on SportSouth. Hawks games on SportSouth are available to more than 5.1 million households across Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee.

"We are excited to extend our partnership with SportSouth and build off the record-setting ratings that we established during our thrilling playoff series last season," said Hawks president Steve Koonin in a release. "The broadcast of live sports is crucial to our business and we are fortunate to have a great partner with such a large footprint to grow our fan base."

The original SportsSouth was created by Ted Turner in 1990 and aired some Hawks games. It became Turner South in 1999. In 2006, Fox purchased Turner South from Turner Broadcasting and renamed it SportsSouth. (And just to make things that much more confusing, Fox Sports Networks already owns Fox Sports South, which is a different channel from SportsSouth. Got it?)

Play-by-play announcer Bob Rathbun enters his 19th season as the voice of the Hawks and will be joined by Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins, returning for his seventh season as analyst.

The new season began last night and the first home game is this Saturday featuring a concert with T.I.

92.9/The Game airs Hawks games on the radio, a deal which began last year.
