Will Brown, an Atlanta creole chef, will be featured on Fox's "Superhuman" Monday night as one of 12 people vying for $100,000 in this two-hour special hosted by Kal Penn ("24").

Each person has an extra-special sensory skill, be it great memory or touch or smell. The challenges are much dorkier than anything you'd see on "America's Got Talent."

In Brown's case, he said he can discern individual ingredients (even spices) from a dish. Out of 25 dishes from the "Masterchef" cookbook, "Masterchef" judge Graham Elliot cooked three of them with one single missing ingredient. Brown had to pick the missing ingredient. Some of the dishes have as many as 23 ingredients, making this an especially tough challenge.

"I did not go to culinary school," said Brown. "I learned from my grandparents and mother. I took what I've learned and brought it into an actual business."

The 36 year old ran Will’s Way Creole Kitchen on Auburn Ave. but shut it down and plans to open a new version in Roswell.

The Louisiana native said the producers reached out to him after his appearance on Marietta resident Alton Brown's "Cutthroat Kitchen" on the Food Network.

Brown is loose and light on stage during the competition. He clearly relishes the spotlight. He goofed around with host Penn and panelist Mike Tyson. "He's really great on camera," Penn said in a separate interview.
