Amy Schumer, a day after performing at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, landed in a hospital from nausea related to her pregnancy.

She is in her second trimester for her first child. She married chef Chris Fischer earlier this year.

“I’m grateful to be pregnant,” Schumer said in an interview with me earlier this week to promote her Atlanta show. “But I’ve been throwing up for three months straight. The first couple weeks, I felt really good. Not so much now.”

She had to cancel her Dallas date Thursday night after being diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum, a form of acute morning sickness. Kate Middleton experienced a comparable illness during her three pregnancies.

“I’m fine,” she wrote in Instagram. “Baby’s fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story. I’ve been even more ill this trimester. I have hyperemesis and it blows.”

Schumer had postponed her Fox date for September 29 and moved it to November 14 for similar reasons.
