Season 9 "American Idol" finalist Katie Stevens, who stars in MTV's "Faking It," will play the daughter of Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger) in the series finale of "CSI" next month.
According to EW: "Now in her early 20s, Lindsey is a CSI level 1 experiencing her first day on the job. Lindsey is described as an over-caffeinated, younger and bubbly version of her mom, minus a youthful mistake or two, who is on her way to a promising career. Lindsey actually nails down a key piece of evidence that moves the case forward."
She is the third actress to play Catherine's daughter. The 15-year-old series ends Sunday, Sept. 27 on CBS.

Clay Aiken, now that he ran for Congress, is now being sought for his thoughts on politics. And since he was runner up on "Celebrity Apprentice" a couple years back, he is being asked about GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, according to Billboard.
While plenty of pundits feel Trump's downfall is inevitable, Aiken said Trump should not be under-estimated.
"Anybody who discounts him is shortsighted," said Aiken, who ran for a North Carolina congressional seat in 2014. "I don't think anybody should discount him. Nobody thought that we would see him in the position he is in right now. He is certainly the frontrunner with no signs of that fading." Aiken said that Trump's entry into the Presidential race will give the real estate mogul a chance to shake things up politically.
