Season 6 "Idol" winner Jordin Sparks has broken up with her boyfriend and fellow singer Jason DeRulo.
People broke the news and that's a pretty reliable source. They were together three years and were seen publicly last month at the MTV Video Music Awards. She was guest hosting last night on "E! News" but made no mention of their status.
She has not confirmed the news publicly.

Jason Aldean is engaged to former "American Idol' contestant Brittany Kerr, TMZ reports.
Aldean and his ex-wife broke up after make-out pics of Jason and Brittany surfaced in 2012. She was formerly an NBA dancer and when she tried out season 11, Steven Tyler was quite impressed with her ... looks. She actually wasn't a bad singer and made it to Hollywood.

(Ruben toured with Johns when Foster did his tour a few years back.) Others who sang: Katie McGhie, Air Supply's Graham Russell, the E Street Band's Steven Van Zandt and Chicago's Peter Cetera.

Season eight contestant Scott MacIntyre got some bad news last week: he needs another kidney. And he may have to wait up to three to five years unless someone is willing to come forward.
He had his first replacement seven years ago from the wife of a former piano instructor. "She literally gave me the gift of life in the most tangible way," says MacIntyre to The Hollywood Reporter. "I'm so grateful to my first kidney donor for these past seven years of my life. Without that life-saving gift, I would never have been on American Idol, married my wife or been able to share my life story with so many people around the world. Unfortunately, transplanted kidneys can't last forever, and now I'm facing the same life-threatening illness once again."
