It isn’t quite the same as a surprise in your iTunes account, but Usher has found a unique way to market his new single, “Clueless.”

Starting today, a download code for the song will be the “prize” in specially-marked Honey Nut Cheerios packages purchased at Walmart.

Earlier this year, Usher partnered with the cereal team for a commercial that featured the song, “She Came to Give it to You.” It’s unclear if that song, or “”Clueless,” will be on his upcoming “UR” album, which still doesn’t have a release date.

Usher brings his “UR Experience” show to Philips Arena for a hometown concert on Dec. 9, close to the end of the 27-city run.

Veteran music journalist Gary Graff reviewed the Detroit stop on Usher's tour last week , which launched Nov. 1 in Montreal, and gave the show a mixed review.

“He scored his share of touchdowns but also fumbled through significant portions of the nearly two-hour show,” Graff wrote.

He praised Usher’s, “smooth, charismatic showmanship and nimble dance moves kicking off from the show's opening blast of "My Way" and "OMG." His winning, easygoing manner was on display too, never too chatty and frequently ready with wry asides…And a stripped-down segment that included lighter treatments of "There Goes My Baby" and "U Got it Bad" was a welcome change of pace.”

But, Graff also noted that, “The show lacked focus and too often felt like a random recitation of hits, with some misfired arrangements -- particularly messy, megamix-style treatments of "My Way," "OMG" and "Love In This Club" -- and plenty of speed bumps that undermined Usher's intent.”
