The Avett Brothers will bring their indie-rock-folk-Americana songs to Atlanta for a pair of concerts this summer.

The band will perform at 8 p.m. June 9-10 at the Fox Theatre. Tickets are $39.50-$59.50 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 20 via the Fox box office, www.foxtheatre.org, select Ticket Alternative locations and by calling 1-855-285-8499.

In June, the North Carolina quartet released their ninth studio album, “True Sadness,” which has been nominated for Grammy Awards for best Americana album and best Americana roots performance for “Ain’t No Man.”

The band is a regular presence in Atlanta, having played Music Midtown in 2012, the Shaky Knees Music Festival in 2015 and a show at Verizon Amphitheatre last May.
