Sting and Shaggy tour will play the Tabernacle this fall

That unlikely duo of Sting and Shaggy are taking their island-flavored collaboration on the road this fall.

The pair will kick off a tour Sept. 15 in Miami and head to Atlanta for the next date, Sept. 17 at the Tabernacle .

Tickets for the 8 p.m. show are $80.50 for general admission (standing) floor and $130.50 for reserved seating in the balcony. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. May 24 at www.ticketmaster.com and by calling 1-800-745-3000. Members of Sting's fan club can purchase tickets beginning May 21(visit www.sting.com/tour for details).

Every online purchase will include a digital or physical copy of Sting and Shaggy’s “44/876” album.

The pair intends to play selections from the new album, as well as collaborate on each other’s hits, such as “Every Breath You Take,” “Englishman in New York,” “Mr. Boombastic” and “It Wasn’t Me.”

Sting and Shaggy will be joined on the tour by Sting’s players ‪Dominic Miller (guitar), ‪Josh Freese (drums) and Rufus Miller (guitar) as well as Shaggy’s band members Melissa Musique (backing vocals), Gene Noble (backing vocals) and Kevon Webster (keyboards).

On May 25, a new version of the album, “44/876: The Remixes,” will be released. The remixes are handled by artists including Chris Baio of Vampire Weekend, the Brazilian duo Tropkillaz and Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Aude.
