Ed Roland announces guests, beneficiaries for Eddie's Attic holiday concerts

Ed Roland always makes his holiday shows at Eddie’s Attic special, and this year, his musical offerings will benefit three recipients.
The concerts, at 8 p.m. Dec. 14-16, will feature members of Collective Soul , the Sweet Tea Project, Eric Dodd, Kick the Robot and others. As usual, each show will be different.
Proceeds from the Dec. 14 concert will benefit Share Our Strength: No Kid Hungry, an organization that aims to end childhood hunger in America (https://www.nokidhungry.org/).
The Dec. 15 proceeds will go to the T.J. Martell Foundation, the music industry's biggest foundation that funds medical research focused on finding cures for leukemia, cancer and AIDS (http://www.tjmartell.org/).
And the Dec. 16 show is especially important to Roland, as all proceeds will be gifted to his sister-in-law, September Harkey, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer this year. Since her diagnosis, she has not been able to work because of the effects of chemotherapy and other medical infusions she's received on a monthly basis. September is the mother of two girls, Alexa and Lily, and is married to her high school sweetheart, Zach Harkey. Roland and Collective Soul played a homecoming concert in October at The Tabernacle to celebrate the release of their new album, "See What You Started by Continuing."
