Singer Rob Thomas -- the lead singer Matchbox Twenty who struck out on his own a few years ago -- announced he is postponing several shows on his upcoming "Great Unknown" tour, including a performance scheduled for July 21 at Chastain Park Amphitheatre in Atlanta.

A total of 11 shows will be postponed so Thomas can focus on the health of his wife, Marisol, who needs treatment to remove a possible lesion from the base of her brain.

Those with tickets to the show can visit robthomasmusic.com for information on refunds and rescheduled dates.
