When Ray LaMontagne heads to the Fox Theatre on July 30, he’ll have some familiar faces backing him.

LaMontagne is taking My Morning Jacket bassist Tom Blankenship, drummer Patrick Hallahan, guitarist Carl Broemel and keyboardist Bo Koster with him on his upcoming tour to support his new album, “Ouroboros,” which will arrive March 4.

The album was co-produced by My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James; first single “Hey, No Pressure,” is sitting at No. 1 on Amazon’s digital best-sellers chart.

“We’ve been throwing this idea around for quite a few years now, and the stars have finally aligned. There has been such positive spiritual energy flowing throughout this entire project,” La Montagne said in a statement. “From that first restless night’s sleep when the album made itself clear to me, to the recording of the Album at La La Land Studio with Jim, to getting a call out of the blue ten months later that the Jacket boys wanted to back it up on the road. There is some serious mojo surrounding this record and I think it’s going to be a very, very special run of shows.”

Tickets to his Fox concert go on sale at 10 a.m. March 4, but fans who pre-order the new album on Amazon.com through Feb. 11 will receive a pre-sale code for early access to tickets. Tickets are $34.50-$69.50.

LaMontagne’s 45-city tour will launch in Cincinnati on June 10 and wrap in Dallas on Sept. 24.
