[Updated Feb. 3: The unlikely trifecta of Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney will perform their recently released collaboration, "FourFiveSeconds," at Sunday's ceremony. The song is technically the first single from Rihanna's upcoming album (see the video below). In addition, West will deliver a "never-before-seen" solo performance during the show - which seems rather obvious (it's a live show, how can any performance have been seen before?). Anyway, the story below will let you know what other groovy pairings to expect at this year's ceremony. I'll be in L.A. all weekend, so make sure to check the Music Scene blog for news on various events around town and the Grammys themselves.]
Add Lady Gaga and her buddy Tony Bennett to the list of Grammy performers.
Gaga tweeted on Wednesday that she and her jazz duet partner will appear on the show.
They aren’t the only high profile pairing set to take the stage on the Feb. 8 live show from Los Angeles.
In traditional Grammy fashion, a spate of collaborations is set, including Hozier with Annie Lennox (you just KNOW she loves "Take Me to Church"), Jessie J with the inimitable Tom Jones and Adam Levine and his former "Voice" co-star Gwen Stefani.
They join previously announced performers Usher, Sam Smith, Madonna, Eric Church, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Pharrell Williams, Miranda Lambert and Common and John Legend, who will perform their "Selma" contribution, "Glory," which will compete for an Oscar later in February.
Perennial host LL Cool J will handle those duties again this year.
The Grammys will air at 8 p.m. on CBS.
