(Congrats to randomly selected winner Lauren J. and thanks to ALL of you who participated. For the record, the Atlanta artists other than Future performing at Music Midtown are Collective Soul, Daye Jack and Midnight Larks.)

Well my friends, the time has come – my annual free tickets giveaway to Music Midtown.

Thanks to the folks at the festival, I have a pair of general admission tickets for the Saturday-Sunday event at Piedmont Park.

You can check out the full lineup here , but some highlights include headliners Bruno Mars, Future, Mumford & Sons and Blink-182, along with Wiz Khalifa, Haim, Weezer, Young the Giant, Big Sean and Bastille.

To enter:

  1. Zip me an email at mruggieri@ajc.com by noon Thursday, Sept. 14.
  2. In that email, name one of the Atlanta acts who will perform at the festival, ASIDE from Future ( you can easily find that info here ). Make sure to put "Music Midtown tickets" in your subject line, otherwise I will not see your email and you have zero chance of winning. Seriously. Don't tell me, "I want to win!" "I love Bruno!" "Please pick me!" or anything other than "Music Midtown tickets."
  3. I will randomly select a winner from entries with a correct answer the afternoon of Sept. 14 and contact that person directly (as well as announce the winning name at the top of this post).
  4. Please do not enter if you cannot attend and please, only one entry per email address.
  5. While it isn't required to enter, I would greatly appreciate a follow on Twitter and/or Facebook .

Good luck!
