Michael Cartellone is more than the guy hitting the skins during “Freebird.”
The Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer is also an acclaimed visual artist who will bring his curated collection to Wentworth Gallery in Phipps Plaza June 18.
Cartellone will appear at the gallery that day to showcase the highlight of his 70-piece collection, The Four Davids.
The drummer, who anchored the beat for Damn Yankees and has played with Skynyrd since 1999, began painting at the age of 4.
